What does it cost me?
Filing a report is free, and it stays free. The lawyer pays us for access to the platform when they take the case. What you then agree with that lawyer for their work is strictly between the two of you — we never take a share of it.
Why do you need my ID?
Because a lawyer commits real money and real time to a case before ever speaking to you. Identity verification is what makes that reasonable, and it is why false reports do not survive here. You confirm your email and phone when you sign up; the ID check happens once, the first time you file.
What if no lawyer takes my case?
Then nothing is charged to anybody and your report waits in the queue. You will be told plainly if the area has no lawyer yet, rather than left watching a spinner. You can withdraw the report at any time.
Can I choose my lawyer?
Not directly: the first qualified lawyer in that jurisdiction to take the case gets it, which is what makes the response fast. You are of course free to decline and to withdraw the report — you are never bound to anyone.
Who sees my personal details?
Until a lawyer takes the case, nobody. They see the type of case, the city, the date and the evidence — never your name, your phone number, your address or your face. Those are released at the moment the case is taken, and only to that one lawyer.
